Be you a supplier or a demnder (and I have always seen myself more as a satisfied user), the concept introduces significant flexibility and cost saving opportunities to the farming business. For me, the best thing is the ability, when other plans have not worked out or the weather has changed, to be able to lift the phone and ask for a man and/or a machine to be with you at short notice. Almost always something is available. For instance in late February of this year on a morning that turned out to be the most drouthy that we had had in months buth with rain forecast for laate afternoon, I was able to have a baler in a field to finish off the last 10 acres of barley straw at Fala Mains within two hours of me lifting the phone! Incidentally the straw was far better bedding than much that had been baled four months previously!"

Our Membership is open to private householders as well as businesses, click here to find out more.

How to Join

If you are interested in joining BMR then let us know and we will talk you through how we can work for you. We can then post a new members information pack out to you with the relevant forms for you to complete. Where possible we visit potential new members to discuss any queries they may have. If you would like more information on how to join please fill in the enquiry form or give us a ring at the office.

And then?
Once your application has been approved and your direct debit set up, you have become member of BMR and are able to use any of the services! You will then receive a Handbook, which incorporates the Guide Price List, Operating Rules and a list of current members. Newsletters are sent out to members 4 times a year.
